There are no dates yet. We are organizing the first games.
Join the WhatsApp group (opens in a new tab) to get the news before anyone else.
What we offer
Games
Open tables for players of all levels. We play MCR or Riichi.
Classes
Classes for beginners. We explain the rules and play the first hands with you.
Demonstrations
We show the game at events, libraries and cultural centers.
Where to play
We are looking for places to play in Gijón. We also want to play in Oviedo, Avilés, La Pola, Cangas and other places. Do you have a bar, a room or a venue that works for games? Write to us. We agree on places and times in the WhatsApp group.
You only need a table with four chairs. We bring the tiles.
For organizations
We give demonstrations and short workshops for associations, libraries, town councils, cultural centers and board game groups. Tell us about your event and we find a date.
Write to mahjongasturias@gmail.com.
Games and the League
The Spanish Mahjong League (opens in a new tab) accepts games played in person. Players send a photo of the signed score sheet. Your games in Asturias can count for the ranking.
Tournaments
We want to organize a tournament in Asturias. First we need players. The Federation tournaments are open to everyone. See the calendar of tournaments in Spain (opens in a new tab).
Tournaments certified by the EMA count for the European ranking. See the EMA tournament calendar (opens in a new tab).
